Once upon a time I was an artist, then I had four kids. The end. Kidding of course, but I definitely don't spend nearly as much time drawing and painting as I would like. When I was a student I swore I would never be one of those people who got a degree in art and then never used it, but life happens and my art got put on the back burner. It's only been in the last year that I've been able to start spending more time doing a little more of what I love- drawing! It's so satisfying to have a few moments to sit and put pencil to paper.
FYI...this is a drawing of Nike of Samothrace. One of my favorite works I saw at the Louvre last August.
