A Tale of a Two Desks

Once upon a time I found a cute little square table that I had absolutely no need for. But...I bought it anyway.

After it sat in my garage for a few weeks I had an idea (not an original one- i had seen this done before),

I would convert it into 2 separate desks.

Luckily for me, this table once had a leaf, so all I had to do was remove the hardware to split it in half.

I then mounted a strip of wood to the wall under each desk, and screwed it to the desk from underneath.

And there you have it...two narrow little desks, perfect for kids homework or small projects.
