Camera Strap Project

I was tempted to buy a cute camera strap cover from Etsy, when I realized how easy it would be to just make one myself.
Here's my very unscientific method:

First, buy cute fabric. I decided to make mine double sided using two coordinating patterns.

Next, measure your strap, do some math to allow for seams, and cut two strips.
Sew them right sides together, and iron flat.

Cut a piece of fusible fleece interfacing the same size as your sewn fabric strips and iron it on  to the wrong side of the fabric.

Fold down each end and sew a couple of seams.

Fold right sides together and sew up the length, completing the tube.
Now for the hardest part of the whole thing....get yourself a large safety pin and turn the tube right side out.

Iron flat and slide that baby on to your camera.

Then...try to figure out how to take a picture of your camera with your camera.
Scratch your head for a bit, and then go get your point and shoot and take a pic of the finished project.
