We spent the last night in Amsterdam out on the town. There was some sort of festival going on in Dam Square, complete with a ferris wheel and other rides.
The streets were decked out with hanging chandeliers.
And the buildings were all lit up.
This picture is from a church we had visited the day before. They had an Andy Warhol exhibit on display.
We bought ourselves a couple of yummy treats.
And then took a two hour candlelight canal cruise.
Complete with a cheese plate. The Dutch love their cheese!
My night photography skills are lacking a bit, but the buildings and the bridges really were beautiful all lit up.
This is Amsterdam's famous "Skinny Bridge".
The next morning we checked out of our hotel and took a train out of Central Station
to our next stop-Belgium!
