Cerreta's

It's spring break for the kids, and since we're staying put we decided to visit some of our favorite local attractions.
Today we went to Cerreta's Candy Company in downtown Glendale.

We made a quick stop through the store before joining the tour.

The factory is pretty old. Most of the machines are from the 1950's and 1960's.

This day they were making caramels and white chocolate covered pretzels.

Do you think they would mind if I just stuck my tongue under the flowing white chocolate?

Mackenzie was seriously enthralled with the tour. She told me later that she "likes learning".

The best part of the tour for the kids?........ the sample at the end. YUM!

My kids love going there. It is so fun. Glad your kids had a great time. You should also try the Stuffington bear factory in Phoenix. They are one of the only stuffed animal factories that still runs. They offer a tour and you can make a stuffed animal. Kind of like Build a bear, but 1,000 times better. My kids loved it.
