Hugs and Kisses

 

I know it's only January, but I've started working on a few fun decorations for Valentine's Day.

My first project was transforming these brown paper mache letters into a cute, glittery craft- perfect for the holiday.

I started with a couple of coats of craft paint. I chose to do the "X" red, and the "O" pink.

I grabbed some glitter from my stash. The Martha Stewart Glitter is my favorite!

 

I painted a thick coat of mod podge on the fronts of the letters, and poured on a generous amount of glitter, shaking off the extra to go back in the jar.

Ta-da! The finished project.

And because the letters were on sale, the whole project cost me six bucks. Not too shabby.
