It's no secret that I LOVE thrift stores. And now I've discovered one of my favorite new sections to scope out.....the travel books.
A few weeks back I came upon this guy, "The Pleasures of Paris: A Gastronomic Companion", a Paris travel book from the 1970's.
The title alone was worth the $1.00 price tag.
But it was this photo that hooked me.
I LOVE the little car in front of the Eiffel Tower!
So I scooped up the book, and a super cheap frame,
Cut the picture from the book, and cut a large white mat for it.
Here's my lovely assistant holding up the finished project.
And here it is on the wall of my downstairs bathroom.
J'adore ca, c'est tellement joli!
