Camp Craft- Lantern

 

Here's a peek at a super easy craft my girls are going to make this year at camp.

You may have seen this on Pinterest, like I did. It looked crazy simple, and also practical for those dark nights in the forest.

 

Start with a clean jar.

 

 I used these round labels that I already had, to mask off the area I didn't want to paint.

 

I bought a can of Rust-Oleum frosted glass spray,

and gave the jar a couple of light coats.

Peel off the stickers,

 

spray the ring a fun color,

and wrap some wire around the rim.

 

That's it. It literally took me 5 minutes, start to finish.

Throw in a battery operated light and you're good to go!
