My fireplace mantel is one of my favorite places to decorate. And while I didn't think it needed a major overhaul, I did change out a few things this last week.
This bell jar had a bird under it which I swapped out for a small painted owl.
I framed a photograph from Paris of the green chairs I'm obsessed with.

I also changed out the photo in this mustard colored frame. It's a picture I took of a staircase handrail inside the Eiffel Tower.
And last, but not least, I added a white starfish I picked up on a roadside market north of Monterey.
Small changes sometimes make the biggest difference.
