The kids painted watercolor monsters (or birds, for those older girls who aren't into monsters). We talked about Van Gogh, and the importance of color to express emotion in art.
Their assignment was to paint 4 different monsters, and use color to convey their emotions.
Kids are naturally creative, it's a blast to see what they come up with.

So cute! So fun! Maybe I need my kids to tell me what color they're feeling today ... Althought sometimes it goes from yellow to red in seconds without much warning!😊
