For this week's Around the World Date Night we doubled with our good friends, the Montierths, and headed to Haus Murphy's German Restaurant in downtown Glendale.
We had high hopes for this place, since it was featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Although the company was great, and the atmosphere was fun, the food left us a little disappointed.
The theme for our dinner was "meat, with a side of meat". Too heavy, even for the meat loving carnivores in our group.
The live music was entertaining.
And this little stowaway was as adorable as ever.

So....if you like German food, you'd probably like this place. But if you're not a fan, I'd say skip it.
