Hanging Terrarium

I had this little hook thingy with a hanging lantern on it for a LONG time.
I still liked the hook, and it was the perfect size to fit the space by my front door, but I was tired of the glass lantern part of it. So I decided to change it up a bit and turn it into a hanging terrarium.

I started with a $3.00 glass jar from Hobby Lobby.

I threw in a handful of pretty rocks.

I then tore a couple of pieces of sheet moss to fit the size of the jar.

And stuck them down in on top of the rocks.

I knew I didn't want to keep a real succulent alive, so I bought this little fake guy.

I cut the end and stuck it through the moss.

I added some black wire and hung it up on the old hook.

I think it turned out kind of purdy.
