Of all the organizing I've done so far, I think this is my favorite. You see, I love music, and have a ton of old Cd's. All these Cd's are on my computer, iPod, iPad, iPhone, etc., but I wasn't quite ready to get rid of all the disks.....just in case.
The jewel cases, however, take up a huge amount of space, it was time to get rid of them.
For this project I enlisted to help of my best worker, Abby. She helped remove the cover and disk out of each case.
Just so you get a good visual.......here's what a stack of cases looks like next to a stack of just disks and covers. (This is about a fifth of my collection)
After shucking all the cases, I stashed them ALL into this one tidy little box.
Amazing, if I do say so myself!
I ended up with five trash bags full of cases, and a whole lot more free space!
