I'm in full Christmas Crafting mode over here, trying to enjoy the season, and make a few things to decorate my house.
This week I finished up this Christmas door sign I made out of a thrifted silver tray.
Here's how it started. I think I paid three bucks for the tray at Goodwill.
I made a paper template of the inside flat surface,
and used it to trace the shape on some chalkboard vinyl.
I added the polka dot ribbon and the chalk message, and hung that baby up!
I absolutely love it! And to keep it from slamming on my door when we go in and out, I added a Velcro command strip on the back.
Total cost: about $7.00
Not too shabby.
