I love a good DIY project. This one was crazy easy and used supplies I already owned.
I started with a piece of Masonite that was collecting dust in my garage.
I painted it white, taped off stripes, and painted them gray.
I cut some black vinyl with my Silhouette, and slapped it on.
A little sanding of the edges and it was done. It took less than half an hour, start to finish.
I've got a few more tweaks to make to the mantel before I reveal the whole thing, but I'm totally loving it!
