Before I get rid of something in my home, I usually try to breathe new life into it with paint. Case in point. This old brown chest was one step away from the trash, or the donate pile. I decided to give it a fresh coat of paint, and guess what? I love it! 
A couple of coats of leftover yellow paint, a little distressing, and it looks brand new and super cute.

Just now catching up on the blog. I love the mantle and all the work done on the house. I wish I was over as much as before, I miss seeing all the fun additions.
