Two Angels Discussing Botticelli

When I was a poor college student I splurged on a couple of limited edition signed and numbered lithographs from one of my favorite contemporary artists, James Christianson.
I framed them and hung them in our first home, but since moving, they've lived in the back of my closet collecting dust.
Of the two, this one is my favorite. It's called "Two Angels Discussion Botticelli".
I decided I liked it too much to leave it in the closet,
it was time to reframe it and find a place to hang it.

The previous frame was too ornate and fancy, so I picked up a simple black wood frame and cut a large white mat for it.

It's simple and clean, but looks great over our piano.

I love it as much today as the day I bought it.
