Crafty Goodness

Meet my new best friend.

A couple of years ago my sweet husband bought me a Cricut for Christmas. I loved it, I used it a decent amount, it served me well, until a few months ago when I accidentally dropped it on my tile floor and busted it.
So.....after a little research, I decided to replace it with the new Silhouette Cameo.
I'm so glad I did.
If anybody out there is trying to decide between the 2 machines- BUY THE SILHOUETTE.

Here's how it works.

For this project I knew I wanted an image of a bicycle. The Silhouette website has billions of images, I searched for Bike and found the one I liked the best.
Size it on the computer, load the paper or vinyl (I used vinyl),

and cut.

I peeled off the surrounding vinyl and am left with basically a sticker of my image.

The next layer is the word "Play". This image shows the bicycle with the transfer tape on it- this just makes the vinyl easier to place.

Position and place on the paper,

frame and enjoy!

I also did a version that says "games"

While I was at it I made a new sign to hang by our front door.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
